Post dated Cheque

POST DATED CHEQUE:

Postdated Cheque Feature:

  1. Cheque integrated from General Ledger.

  2. Cheque report by due date, customer/supplier and bank.

  3. Create journal in general ledger for due cheque.

Step to run post dated cheque are (the step for both in and out cheque are the same)

  1. 1. Delete all data in CHEQUE DATA DELETE, and select the latest date (you may put a date up to many years after to make sure all the data deleted)

  2. If you run integrated program form General Ledger, please input the integrated account in CHEQUE (OUT/IN) AND BANK ACCOUNT. If the postdated cheque account code debited (cheque in) or credited (for cheque out) when inputing journal in general ledger, a window appear to input the cheque data. Only one bank account can recorded as default, If more then one bank account, please edit the account when inputting transaction.

  3. Input beginning balance in EDIT, please input all undue cheque.

  4. Create journal in DUE CHEQUE PROCESS, choose the cheque to process by enter Y in front of the transaction. The cheque will be quoted as DUE and create one journal for every cheque in General Ledger. Before processing, please edit the bank account code where the cheque will be transferred. You can print the due cheque report before processing.

  5. Print all necessary report.

  6. Delete the due data in CHEQUE DATA DELETE, and select the date. Please remember to backup data before deleting any data, or you will be unable to retrieve the necessary data in the future.
